Trainee Legal Executive, Personal Injury

Justine joined Sedgwick Phelan 1994 as a secretary to one of the trainee solicitors. She quickly progressed through the ranks becoming a secretary to a Partner and then the Partner’s assistant. She is now dealing with a substantial caseload of claims in the Personal Injury Department including Road Traffic Accident, Criminal Injury Compensation Authority and Public Liability claims.

Justine became a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2004 and is continuing to train with a view to obtaining Fellowship.

She handles a variety of claims including numerous five-figure awards. Justine also assesses many new accident claims to ensure cases have reasonable prospects of success, both alone and with the Personal Injury Departmental team.

Justine enjoys sport including squash and badminton along with fine wines, dining and travel.
