Rochdale Hospice 2009 Calendar Launched

The Springhill Hospice 2009 Calendar and programme of fund rasing events was unveiled at the annual Calendar Launch evening held at the hospice premises on Thursday 28 August. A lighthearted and fun evening was hosted by the Hospice's Chief Fundraiser, Ian Jenkins, who also provided an amusing summary of the past year's events. Chief Executive Chris Webb was also on hand to provide details of the ongoing refurbishment and renewals project for the building now approaching its twentieth birthday year.

Changes to the law affecting tipping

Buying a Business and Confidentiality

Many local clients are considering buying or selling a business and, in doing so, secrecy is paramount. If details get out, the deal can be scuppered so it is important to keep things under wraps to protect relationships with customers and suppliers. £2m estate taken from Farmer who worked for 30 years for free

The Court of Appeal have ruled that a farmer who worked without pay on a farm belonging to his cousin for 30 years was not entitled to inherit the farm on the death of the owner.
